Kirk’s feets had larger hole for the magnetic material compare to Edison’s.Edison’s paintjob is much better than Kirk… I hate the large paint transfer on Kirk’s magne weapon….Kirk’s butt had “© TAKARA 99” stamp while Edison had “© TAKARA 98” with “CHINA” stamp.
Hmm, personally I like the clear panels better than fully painted. Kirk’s back was fully painted while the Japanese version had the 5mm port and the panels left clear.There are few plastic traces left on Kirk’s right hand which looks ugly but, it can be cut.Kirk’s right arm’s bracelet was painted in awkward paintjob but, more like they didn’t paint it to me.Kirk’s left arm is slightly smaller than Edison which appeared to be bulged, on the contrary Edison’s right arm is slimmer than Kirk one.The coloring of Kirk’s golden chest is paler than Edison.Yeah, I like the flat one better, more anime accurate. The shape of Kirk’s shoulder rivets are slightly different, they’re now flat rivet while the Japanese Ver.Yeah, in terms articulations Sonokong did better job than Takara. Edison’s head couldn’t even move pretty well since the joint was too tight & he can’t even bend his head up & down. Kirk’s head articulation moves better than Edison, you can see his neck articulation on my pictures above.there are indeed some differences that I noticed: The anime counterpart appeared to have a very different interior which has computer & even a feature that can split to the side while the toy only split upward, seems to me that the computer interior would only be able to carry 1 or 2 person.Ĭomparing between Edison, Kirk appeared to have the same body proportion like other regular Magne Microman toys but, in Korean Ver.
Interesting but, it’s funny they hide in the food can because hiding inside the food can may distract people if they saw it, since most people actually likes to dig on instant cup noodles lol. The can itself was printed with decal stickers, it’s mostly written “Spicy Soy Sauce Noodle Pepper” but, I kinda loled they even put a barcode number on it… The Noodle can was referenced from “Nissin Cup Noodle” brand, maybe? & since the Micro Machine introduced them being able to hide into the food can, Spy Heli can be put inside the noodle can perfectly fine & interestingly Magne Kirk also fit enough to be put inside together with Spy Heli inside the noodle can. Okay, now we shall see the contents looks like!Ĭup Noodle can works as their secret base, we can open the can to reveal their base which inside of the cup sculpted with machine feels but, completely unpainted.

Unfortunately, I completely blank by this packaging since the box was written full in Korean language… Well, I understand Japanese a little but, this… I don’t understand Korean at all, not even a bit of the writings I can read. Unlike the Japanese version, the Korean version has the contents packaged with a thick box instead of MOC which gave them better protections on the toys. The box even stated “made in Korea”, I think this is my first Korean toy eventhough, the franchise was originally Japanese made. Sonokong is the official Korean licensor for Takara Microman Magne Powers Toys. Alright, enough for them now as for the toy, my Spy Heli was produced by a different company, which is Sonokong Toys. The name of “Micro Machine” was a homage to the original micro machine line from the original series. Spy Heli is one of Edison’s micro machine creation to help him & his fellow Microman to fight Acroyear, it’s ability was able to fly like a helicopter, secret base & of course combat copter! As for Magne Kirk, I can’t seem to find any of his information who he is & what part of his role in Microman since he never make any appearance in Microman anime.
